Worship

We gather as the people of God, in a variety of ways, settings and ages. We offer something for everyone, for all ages and the uninitiated.

Worship

We share the Good News of Jesus Christ and His
teaching example and finding nourishment and
strength in the sacraments: the outward and
visible signs of God’s Grace and power.

We rejoice in our Anglican heritage but we are also
not afraid to let our hair down and explore elements
of participation, performance and entertainment as
we seek to learn and develop as individuals in God’s presence.

Baptisms

Services of Baptism (also know as "Christenings") for children under the age of 8 are available for those who live in the Parish or have a qualifying connection to the Church or Parish. Baptism Services are held at 12 noon on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
Anyone wishing to make enquiries about baptisms can contact Revd Sheena on 01472 825745 or the Parish Office on 872482. Thank you.

Weddings

We very much welcome enquiries from all those who live in the Parish and would like to get married at
St Giles with St Matthew. In order to make a firm booking, those wishing to get married at St Giles are required to provide ID, preferably a valid passport.
Anyone wishing to make enquiries about weddings can contact Revd Sheena on 01472 825745 or the Parish Office on 872482. Thank you.

Funerals

Arrangements for funerals, burials and burials of cremated remains are normally made with us via a local Funeral Director. The Rector will then normally make contact with the family.
